Our Melbourne office is looking for  someone to join our food & beverage client content team. You’ll be responsible for creating managing and growing our clients’ social media channels. If you’re super organised, creative and love food, read on!

The Role:
 

  • Plan and maintain content schedules for multiple clients across multiple social media platforms.

  • Implement strategies to launch, grow and engage communities.

  • Brief and engage internal and external teams to create and source content including photographers, videographers, designers and more.

  • Account management of clients, including day-to-day communication, ongoing strategy and reporting.

  • Closely monitoring and fostering community engagement via social media channels

  • Responsive crisis management when needed.

  • Report on engagement and audience growth across different channels, with the ability to pull out insights.

  • Occasionally work on-ground at our clients premises or events.

  • Proactive ideation for new initiatives.

  • Work with influencers and/or influencer agencies to engage specific talent where necessary.

Requirements

Need to have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in social media / content marketing / digital marketing / editorial within an agency, in-house or a publisher.

  • Experience creating social media or content strategies, developing insights and planning campaigns.

  • Experience in the hospitality / food & beverage market.

  • Proven history of managing and building rapport with multiple clients.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage your time across campaigns and clients.

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with perfect grammar and spelling.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience working with stakeholders of all levels.

  • Ability to be reactive and think on your feet.

  • Experience and understanding of social media management and listening tools

  • Experience and understanding of online metrics and analytics.

  • Be able to think creatively and bring fresh ideas to the table.

  • A love and curiosity for music, events, food & wine and lifestyle brands that intersect with them.

Nice to have:

  • Experience running paid social media campaigns.

  • Experience with design & web software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software, WordPress and MailChimp.

  • Google Adwords and Facebook Blueprint certifications.
