Finance Manager

Job description

Supporting the CFO and managing a bookkeeper, this is a diverse role in a creative and flexible work environment. Bolster group works with clients in the music and events space and need an experienced Financial Manager to keep accounts payable/received, payroll, and balance sheets in order.


Experience in creative or digital agencies is required due to the nuances in working with media in and out on campaigns, as is strong Xero experience in those environments. In return we offer great flexibility and a great work environment and culture. This is a full-time role but would consider 4 days a week and there is an opportunity for some days to be from home.

Requirements


If you’re up for the challenge, you’ll be responsible for:

  • End-to-end billing of client fees and media budgets throughout the month.
  • End of project/campaign reconciliations as required
  • Reconciliation of media spends vs billings as required
  • Supporting the client service team & digital campaign managers with data as required and help with client queries
  • Supporting the Finance, Operations and Leadership teams with various functions and reporting.
  • Managing with monthly payroll
  • Handling of account enquiries from clients and staff.
  • Assistance with AR collection
  • Assisting with monthly & quarterly reporting
  • Working with our off-shore finance assistant

 

You stand out thanks to your:

  • Experience working in a finance role in an agency environment, such as digital, creative or media.
  • Experience working with media/advertising spends (Facebook, Adwords, Publishers) 
  • Working knowledge and commercial experience with Xero.
  • Previous experience in AR/AP
  • Payroll management experience 
  • Strong working knowledge of excel and google sheets
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with account managers, clients and various stakeholders
  • Accounting or Financial qualifications
