Junior Designer

Bolsters’ studio is expanding! ​​We’re looking for a passionate, creative and detail oriented human to join our growing creative team as Junior Designer. This is a newly created role and an exciting foot in the door for an up and coming designer keen to learn from a team of experienced creatives. Reporting directly to the Creative Lead, you will be able to work efficiently to design and roll-out assets for both print and digital, email marketing, social advertising, website assets, as well as work on video/motion and still assets. The ideal candidate will be an optimistic and determined team player, with the ability to collaborate across departments, in a fast-paced agency environment. You will work closely with our Video and Motion Graphics Editor and our Branding and Content Creative to bring creative ideas to life across a number of formats and channels.


We are looking for someone with a curious mind, looking to explore their creative abilities to craft their future here at Bolster. This role offers fantastic opportunities for growth and development, and will allow the right person to take it in their own direction creatively.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing Graphic and Digital Design assets for, but not limited to EDMs, Advertising, Organic Social, Content and Website for Bolster and its clients.

  • Ensuring branding is consistent with guidelines across all digital outputs

  • Assisting the creative team in the concept, development and roll-out of campaigns

  • Working collaboratively with other creatives in-studio to develop creative pipelines for efficient roll-out of creative executions

  • Contributing independent ideas during brainstorming sessions

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide creative/design solutions for Bolster and its clients

  • Support the creative team with ad-hoc design tasks as needed

  • Staying up to date with emerging trends in design, art and culture

Requirements

About You:

  • A team player, who values team success over personal success

  • Proficient in the use of a myriad of creative tools, not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision or other digital design platforms

  • 1 year experience in creative studio environment

  • Familiar with an agency or brand marketing environment

  • A creative thinker with a passion for design

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Understanding of UI design principles

  • Have an understanding of designing for social and digital channels

  • Approachable, helpful and ready to learn and develop in this role

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once with energy and positivity.

  • You understand tight timelines, and are able to turn around projects on time and to deadline
