We do this through real-world experiences, content, and culture forward campaigns. The agency itself is a marketing & events collective specializing in entertainment, culture and community projects. Our client list includes some of Australia’s best culture focused brands, entertainment & experience creators as well government and tourism clients.
Going North acts as the centrepoint for all projects in the Top End, and works closely with specialists including digital and creative agency Bolster, House of Darwin, and a wide network of freelance creative experts to execute.
We are looking for a Projects & Account Manager to work with us on multidisciplinary projects and be the client lead as well as wrangle internal teams to bring our projects to life.
This role is a full-time, permanent role however we are open to a fixed contract arrangement if preferred for the right person.
The role:
End-to-end client relationship management
Foster existing client relationships as well as new business opportunities developed by directors
Develop proposals and pitch documents, execution plans etc
Manage project budgets in line with scope
Manage and oversee key deliverables for campaigns with all clients, across digital, social, content, creative & events
Work closely with all external teams to produce campaigns end to end and ensure client expectations are exceeded, and projects delivered on time and on budget
Create and take ownership on our business processes to streamline the sell in of ideas to execution & delivery
Work with the creative resources team to ensure that the highest quality work is produced and ensuring it fits with client strategy and brief
Represent Going North in client meetings and be able to be able to talk to all parts of what we do and identify the right opportunities with clients
Define roles and responsibilities between project teams and ensure you are driving projects forward
Coordinate content productions, logistics and external team resources that we collaborate with
Coordinate events and IRL experiences based in Darwin or elsewhere
Project management skills, with proven experience in bringing projects to life
Ability to use project management software
Passion for bringing people and teams together
Deep understanding of content marketing & events
Deep understanding of digital strategies, platforms & technologies
Ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups including external creative suppliers, digital experts, events & logistic teams and more
Experience in the music, entertainment and/or lifestyle verticals
Experience dealing with brands from various corporate levels
Understanding of content strategies and social media frameworks
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Ability to work autonomously
Passion and drive to be part of creative projects
Confidence in sharing opinions and challenging the norm for the betterment of the campaign or project
Ochre Card (working with children check)
