Social Creator & Community Manager

Job description

The Social Creator & Community Manager is an exciting new role within the Creative team at Bolster. The role is pivotal in assisting the Senior Social Account Manager to deliver social content across all our client social channels and ensure all relevant comms are being reached within communities in line with our client social strategies. This role combines a few key skill sets including daily management of social media accounts and cultivating communities, content ideation and creation, as well as copywriting.

Established in 2015, Bolster was born out of a love of music, a curiosity for data and tech, and unmatched knowledge of the digital and entertainment spaces.

With its specialism in music, events and entertainment, in a short space of time, Bolster has become a strategic digital, creative and product partner to many amazing brands such as Splendour in the Grass, St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Falls Festival, Groovin the Moo, Chugg Entertainment, ALH, Pinot Palooza and Future Classic.

We create and develop , plus global lifestyle brands such as YouTube Music, JBL, Red Bull Music, Sapporo and Blundstone, digital products for ourselves and our clients. Some notable mentions include Linktree, and two Webby Award nominated projects: Buzz, a social listening tool for BIGSOUND, and LNWY, an online music publication we collaborated on with Laneway Festival.

If you're up for the challenge, you’ll get to:

  • Create and maintain content calendars, ensuring that they are up to date and reflect the content strategy.

  • Report on trends that are seen in social communities to inform content strategy and ideas.

  • Generate, adapt and edit creative copy.

  • Create low-touch social assets using in-app editing tools (e.g. IG Reels)

  • Assist with content ideation as per a supplied brief, as well as proactively suggesting ad-hoc content ideas in line with social trends

  • Produce basic content through all stages of production (shoot schedule development, photo shoot and editing) working with our in-house creative team

  • Utilise tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite and Google Data Studio to report on results of performance and generate insights.

  • Demonstrate your community management skills and your understanding of guidelines and the role of social media.

Requirements

You stand out thanks to your:

  • 1+ years experience in a digital / marketing / media / advertising environment or your impressive profile and following as a content creator.
